“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”
James 1:5
📖 The Bible and Homosexuality: An Inclusive Reading of Scripture.
This booklet explores the so-called “clobber passages”: six well-known Bible texts often used to condemn homosexuality or exclude LGBTQ+ individuals.
But here, these texts are re-read in light of the life and teachings of Jesus, the Word made flesh, who came not to condemn, but to save.
This is not a call to exclusion, but to understanding.
Not a call to judgment, but to grace and love.
It is an inclusive reflection offered to all who seek to hear God's Word afresh — free from fear, hate, or bias — especially for those trying to reconcile their faith and identity.
In this section, we aim to provide clear, loving, and thoughtful answers to some of the most common questions asked by LGBTQ+ individuals who are seeking to understand their relationship with God and their place within the Christian faith; Or believers who want to understand the LGBT community in light of their faith.
These answers are inspired by the teachings of Jesus and a theology rooted in grace, freedom, and unconditional love.
Our goal is not to impose opinions, but to accompany each person on their spiritual journey and remind them that they are loved by God just as they are, and that they have a place in the body of Christ.
